Billie-Jo and Stephen's Wedding

This was one of those weddings that I just knew was going to be a fun day before it even began, having know BJ and Stiffa (and some of their bridal party and guests) from my days living and teaching in Cohuna. I was BJ's school teacher and played in her netball team, so I know she's a gorgeous girl inside and out. The location also sounded like it was going to be amazing (which is was).....so all in all the recipe for a perfect day....and it didn't disappoint! BJ was just stunning, as were her maids. So that started my tears off for the day! Seeing her "all grown up" and getting married was just too much!  lol. Luckily I wasn't the only one, as both BJ and Stiffa shed a tear when saying their vows. ;) Ravenswood Homestead proved itself to be a stunning location, providing me with a wealth of amazing photo spots...so many that I was a little unsure of where to go and had to limit myself to what we did! I could have spent hours their taking photos!! The rain also held off for them, which was wonderful as their reception was an amazing outdoor party. I want to thank you both for trusting me with the memories of your amazing day. I wish you all the happiness, love and laughter in the world. Your adventures are just beginning. :)
Thanks also to my work experience student Milly for keeping me company and lugging around my camera bag all day! I hope you enjoyed your day.

Ceremony and Reception: Ravenswood Homestead   Flowers and Reception Decorations (which were stunning): The Eternal Vase    Gown: Poppy's Bridal Couture   Bridesmaids Gowns: Forever New

The photo that started my tears....I remember teaching these two all through High School! I feel so old and pathetically sentimental!

At least I wasn't the only one crying. BJ and Stiffa both shed a tear....or 20!

Megan and Matt's Wedding

It wasn't decided until the very last minute if Megan and Matt were going to be married down in the Aquatic Reserve or not. With all of our recent rain it had flooded and was quite wet underfoot...not to mention the million mozzies that were getting around in there! However, the day arrived, the water was low enough, the ground dry enough, the sun was shining and even the mozzies had the common courtesy to stay away! Although we weren't quite so lucky when we went down to the boat ramp....and neither was Megan's dress! ;) I loved all of the attention and care to little matching details that Megan had put into her day, they really bought it all together. All in all, it was a very fun bridal shoot....maybe due to the fact that I wasn't the only one taking "shots!" ;) Thanks for a great day Matt and Megan, I hope your future is everything you dreamt it to be.
